Easily put together by hand with hands. Ash wood, heavy. Top wood ring is 6.5" diameter, plenty of room for beverages. 17" high. Underneath good for large coffee table books. Nice routing on all edges. Tempered, beveled edge glass, carefully packed. Looks like if any component is broken, can order replacement part, rather than shipping the whole thing back for return, but not sure. Finish and slight texture is ready for duty; won't have to 'baby' this table. Gave 4 for value since I am clueless about coffee table prices. Also bought matching end table: ditto.
